THE ARTIST

Harold was born in Ohio and received his degree in fine and professional arts from Kent State University in 1975.  



Inspired by american expressionism, Harold began painting in the early 1970's. Harold moved to Atlanta, Georgia where his artwork transformed, combining imagination with an explosion of color and form.  



Harold taught art and technology education beginning in 1983 until his retirement in 2006. The student creativity during those years inspired the fun and play seen in much of Mr. B's work.  



Harold and his wife, Diana, now reside in Davidson, North Carolina.
